Nancy's artwork is a unique twist of the traditional Dream Catcher that she calls Spirit Catchers. Nancy's artwork reflects the animal's point of view of living through a clearcut, or the ice caps that have melted will never return. We must change our ways and care for Mother Earth and all her creations.
Soul Mates
The creation of "Soul Mates" came from my belief in the after life. When our loved ones pass on, know they are not gone - they are closer than you know. If you talk to your loved ones, they can hear and see everything happening in your life. They don't miss anything: they are there but in an unseen way.
Have faith they are not far and beyond. You will meet again to live on and on.
"Soulmates"
“Our souls meet again and again - from one life to another, as we have met again.
Our lives continue to journey on as our new experiences are brought from far beyond.
The journeys must never cease to exist as our new lives depend on past experiences and beyond.
The future of our souls must continue as we meet once again to live on and on.”

"Spirit of the Grizzly Bear"
Why We Must Listen
“AN ANIMALS PERSPECTIVE OF LIVING THROUGH A CLEAR CUT
WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE”
As the bear awakens from his long sleep he sensed a change.
Bear wonders if he has had a horrific nightmare.
The bear knows deep within his soul that something horrible has happened to his way of life as he once knew it.
Bear prepares to leave his den and suddenly realizes he can't as a great deal of debris is blocking his way out.
Feeling very confused, the bear frantically scatters to clear the debris so he can escape from the unusual entrapment in front of his home.
As the bear broke through the den expressions of confusion, devastation, and shock were clear.
As the bear looked on, he could see many fallen trees lying lifeless on the ground. Thousand-year-old, trees were taken down in seconds, bleeding lifelessly of their sap.
The Bears eyes begin to water as he ponders on what has just happened to his home.
The sounds of a once beautiful orchestra of wildlife flourished in the forest now have been the silence by the quietude remnants of the tree stumps that lay like war casualties.
As the bear stood in disbelief, it was all too clear what little life remained.
The Bears realization of the enormous emotions that just struck him with the thought of wonder, where has all the other wildlife gone?
Creator, what has taken place here while I slept?
Suddenly an eagle appears circling above the bear my friend what has happened here I just awoke to the massive destruction!
The eagle looks tiredly for a place to land but cannot find one.
My bear friend, early in the morning humans moved in with massive machinery and began an assault on our home. I escaped quickly before my cedar tree crashed to the ground rendering me homeless! There is no place to land as there are no more trees. These massive and noisy machinery so effortlessly snapped the trees like twigs.
My dear friend, we must leave now to search for a new home as it will take some time before we will reach another Old-growth forest as they are very few left.
So the eagle and the bear began their long journey in search of a new home - an old-growth forest in which their ancestors had flourished for generations.
As for humans, they have not yet learned the lessons of life.
All life is valued and a part of the entire ecosystem. If we start to cut the web of life we are cutting our own life too.
We are not superior to it - we are a part of it."
Humans CHANGES YOUR WAYS! Remember: “We are all one and one with all.”
