Creeations
Nancy's artwork is a unique twist of the traditional Dream Catcher that she calls Spirit Catchers. Nancy's artwork reflects the animal's point of view of living through a clearcut, or the ice caps that have melted will never return. We must change our ways and care for Mother Earth and all her creations.

Soul Mates
The creation of "Soul Mates" came from my belief in the after life. When our loved ones pass on, know they are not gone - they are closer than you know. If you talk to your loved ones, they can hear and see everything happening in your life. They don't miss anything: they are there but in an unseen way.
Have faith they are not far and beyond. You will meet again to live on and on.
"Soulmates"
“Our souls meet again and again - from one life to another, as we have met again.
Our lives continue to journey on as our new experiences are brought from far beyond.
The journeys must never cease to exist as our new lives depend on past experiences and beyond.
The future of our souls must continue as we meet once again to live on and on.”

"Spirit of the Grizzly Bear"
Why We Must Listen
“AN ANIMALS PERSPECTIVE OF LIVING THROUGH A CLEAR CUT
WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE”
As the bear awakens from his long sleep he sensed a change.
Bear wonders if he has had a horrific nightmare.
The bear knows deep within his soul that something horrible has happened to his way of life as he once knew it.
Bear prepares to leave his den and suddenly realizes he can't as a great deal of debris is blocking his way out.
Feeling very confused, the bear frantically scatters to clear the debris so he can escape from the unusual entrapment in front of his home.
As the bear broke through the den expressions of confusion, devastation, and shock were clear.
As the bear looked on, he could see many fallen trees lying lifeless on the ground. Thousand-year-old, trees were taken down in seconds, bleeding lifelessly of their sap.
The Bears eyes begin to water as he ponders on what has just happened to his home.
The sounds of a once beautiful orchestra of wildlife flourished in the forest now have been the silence by the quietude remnants of the tree stumps that lay like war casualties.
As the bear stood in disbelief, it was all too clear what little life remained.
The Bears realization of the enormous emotions that just struck him with the thought of wonder, where has all the other wildlife gone?
Creator, what has taken place here while I slept?
Suddenly an eagle appears circling above the bear my friend what has happened here I just awoke to the massive destruction!
The eagle looks tiredly for a place to land but cannot find one.
My bear friend, early in the morning humans moved in with massive machinery and began an assault on our home. I escaped quickly before my cedar tree crashed to the ground rendering me homeless! There is no place to land as there are no more trees. These massive and noisy machinery so effortlessly snapped the trees like twigs.
My dear friend, we must leave now to search for a new home as it will take some time before we will reach another Old-growth forest as they are very few left.
So the eagle and the bear began their long journey in search of a new home - an old-growth forest in which their ancestors had flourished for generations.
As for humans, they have not yet learned the lessons of life.
All life is valued and a part of the entire ecosystem. If we start to cut the web of life we are cutting our own life too.
We are not superior to it - we are a part of it."

"The Power to Heal" Sun
"The sun that shines brightly in the sky give off energy, the energy of healing powers I crave from one day to the next.
Why I ask, do I seek these powers? The energy it radiates to me seems to heal my soul from one day to the next.
The power to heal one's soul is one of the greatest power of all.
Help us understand how we can protect our sun so we may continue to heal and feel happiness from one day to the next.
Without the rays of sunlight we would live in darkness - as would our soul's, from one day to the next."
The sun gives off powerful healing energy as does the eagle. I incorporated the eagle beaks as the ray of the sun to give even more powerful energy to the creation of the sun.

"The Energy Within"
"The moon sitting so high in the night sky has a gaze of wonder - what is happening to Mother Earth?
The energy I radiate needed to grow food does not seem sufficient.
The forest that thrived for centuries torn down to make a dollar for today - what about tomorrow?
Does it seem like humans have not given any thought to where they will find clean air to breathe? Trees, a rich source of oxygen renewal, vanishing at a rate of no return!
An entire ecological system, so fragile, never even given a chance for survival.
The oceans that thrived with many species are now polluted.
Humans - your pollution is destroying the balance of Mother Earth.
More sources destroyed - I sense hunger - what will they eat now?
All mighty creator, I will continue to radiate my energy down to Mother Earth but help the humans understand, my power can only help those who will help themselves. Balance, along with Regards and Respect for ALL LIFE, is the best power of all."

"Spirit of the Wolf"
"In the radiant night sky, the wolf cries for help - is anybody listening?
I am the wolf, the creature of path-finding.
The old-growth forest I once denned in is now gone, as humans try to generate a few dollars for today. What about tomorrow?
Humans, did you consider the wildlife you demolished?
Where did everybody go?
The cedar trees that house and cool down the life in the forest is now gone - only tree stumps remain.
The loss of the cedar tree is the end of life as we once knew it. The smell of the fresh evergreens and all plant life flourishing together is like an orchestra of one enormous organism - gone!
The sound of the birds chirping and flying throughout the forest are looking for food for their chicks. The four-legged animals wander through the thick giant old-growth brush looking for a place to lay so they can eat their catch inquietude on the cool carpet of Mother-Earth - all gone!
And even the species we cannot see with our naked eye exist in one large universe of its own - all life co-existing for the harmony of the old-growth forest is now gone.
Is the death of all this brilliant biosphere worth the few bucks for today?
What is left in the forest - lifeless, debris of tree stumps as far as the eye can see.
Can anybody hear me?
All-mighty Creator, show humans what they have afflicted upon us such as:
The medicines they have so thoughtlessly abolished,
The trees that filtered the air, or the lost homes of many wildlife species.
We must leave now to find another home.
Please, all-mighty Creator, guide us to a place where we can call home as we once did in the old-growth forest.

"Survival of the Great Spirit Bear"
The Great Spirit bears, so strong, and yet so rare, they are one in ten. Unlike the spirit bear, humans become strong in numbers. We begin with one person, then two, and then three until we become a force to reckon with.
This force will be the voice of the Great Spirit Bear and all existence that is treated by mass destruction for a few bucks of today.
What about tomorrow? Then what? Will we have clean drinking water? Will we have food to eat? Will we be able to breathe clean air?
As humans, we need to pay attention to what is happening today to the web of life. We do not own the web: we are only a part of it!
If we destroy one piece of the web then the rest will soon break down and disintegrate.
WE must look at least seven generations from today and forecast how this destruction of today will affect the seventh generation of tomorrow. Will there be a web of life?
We humans must take a stand and voice our concern so we can ensure the survival of all species such as the Great Spirit Bear here on Mother Earth.
If we do not - then we too will cease to exist.

"Spirit of the Hummingbird"
Hummingbirds are so beautiful, whimsical, and magical!
The magical healing energy we crave seems impossible.
Yet we somehow feel the presence of our loved ones near when we see these magnificent winged creatures flying so effortlessly for thousands of miles. Yet the unknown universe becomes real when we see them as we feel the love and presence we once felt.
The presence of our loved one's Spirit filling our soul with the intimacy we once cherished together that took a lifetime to grow, nurture and harvest.
Not gone, always forever in our hearts and souls, only to meet again to renew another lifetime of love, joy, and healing for each other from one life to the next.
Believe! You are not alone as I am in the beauty of your eyes in the nature you see. I am one with all, continuing to love you from near and far as we once again will reunite in love, joy, peace, and healing as our souls travel together from one life to the next.

"Spirit of the Salmon"
“Spirit of the Wild Salmon”
Time has brought many changes in my vast ocean and rivers – I am the “Spirit of the Wild Salmon.
My ancestors have passed through these waters for many thousands of years.
Oceans & all living organisms have been here since time began, working for the greater good of all species that thrive in the ocean.
Now our young are few and far between.
Our home, the oceans & rivers have become so polluted that my gills can no longer filter out the pollutants.
Now our young salmon can no longer swim through the infestation of sea lice.
Have we spawned the last generation of my kind?
Will we be extinct!
What will happen to the other species that rely on my last journey home? What will they eat?
Please, all-mighty Creator, show these humans what they must do to save my species – the Wild Salmon.
